about darline

I am a bilingual English/Spanish Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in anxiety disorders.  I have over fifteen years of experience working with people who suffer from ADHD and feelings of anxiety. I believe that in today’s world we are under extreme stress which interferes with academics, personal relationships and self-esteem.  I work with adults of all ages, to help guide them through stressful moments in life.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University in 2005 and 2007 respectively. I have been licensed as a clinical social worker in the state of Florida since 2015 and in the state of Georgia since 2017.

SERVICES

My areas of expertise are working with individuals with ADHD, Anxiety, and overall life stressors.

When working with clients, I consider myself to be just one participant in a team of support systems (family, school, community). My clients possess unique strengths and I enjoy working with them to help effect change.

I use approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, skill-building, mindfulness, and meditation.

My thought is that the mind and body are one. I work holistically to improve your life. One session may just be psychotherapy where as others may include mindfulness and meditation. I believe that everyone can have a thriving life.

I also continue to attend professional trainings and workshops that are relevant to areas of my professional practice.
